Muscle Reflex Testing is derived from a system of chiropractic called "Applied Kinesiology" or "A.K.". Dr. George Goodheart, D.C., developed "A.K."; in 1964. "A.K." gradually grew into an international organization for chiropractors, osteopaths and medical doctors. Now, as of 2011, many Naturopaths are training to use it. "A.K." is a means of evaluating structural, biochemical and psychological aspects of a patient. It enables the doctor to detect and treat disturbed functions even before they develop into diseases.
